The main components of the universal lathe are:
- Bed (This is metal body – base with slides for tailstock and carriage)
- Carriage (Moves on guides of the bed. It has a cross-slide and ToolPost)
- Headstock (Located on the body, provides the rotation of the workpiece)
- Tailstock (Moves on bed guides. It is used to support long workpieces. It has Pinole, where you can install the tool. For example, you can mount the center and then used to support long workpieces. Alternatively, you can mount the drill and then drill holes coaxial).

- 4-jaw chuck (It is a chuck, in which each jaw is controlled independently. Used to hold the workpiece of the non-rotating shapes)
- Centers (It is a tool to support long workpieces)
