Laser TRUMPF TruLaser 5060 was manufactured in Germany in 2007. TRUMPF is well known German company which is a world leader in sheet metal fabrication machinery and industrial lasers. This company has departments in almost every European country, in North and South America as well as in Asia. Laser TRUMPF TruLaser 5060 like other lasers is used for production short and long series from different materials with minimum costs and in a short time.
TRUMPF TruLaser 5060 is equipped with the modern CNC control SIEMENS SINUMERIC 840 D, which allows this machine to cut simple and more complicated internal and external contours in thin and thick metal sheet. This laser shows very high speed of cutting and high accuracy that is very important in production of highly precision details. Laser TRUMPF TruLaser 5060 is equipped with resonator TLF 6000 that allows the cutting even very thick metal sheets. The process of high speed cutting of thin metal sheets is assisted by plasma. The laser has very high speed of cutting that reaches even 1574.8 in/min. The maximum weight sheet metal we can put on the table is 6172.9 lb. As for working range there we can notice that it is quite big and is equal to 236.2 inch in X-axis, 118.2 inch in Y-axis and 4.5 inch in Z-axis. The feed rate is very high and reaches 236220 in/min in X-axis, 78740.2 in/min in Y-axis and a little bit less in Z-axis – 4527.6 in/min. The cutting capacity of course is depends of type of metal, for example the maximum thickness of cutting of aluminum is 0.59 inch, ordinary and stainless steel – 0.98 inch. The power of laser must comply the material thickness that is why it is equal to 6000 W. Laser TRUMPF TruLaser 5060 is equipped with different things like automatic pallet changer, longitudinal belt conveyor, programming setting of the gas pressure, compact dust filter, lighting, central lubrication and so on. And as we said before the laser is equipped also with CNC control SIEMENS SINUMERIC 840 D which in turn is equipped with color monitor TFT 12, main RAM memory 16 MB, HDD 500 GB, floppy disc drive and PC platform with Windows NT. And finally, if you want to place this laser on your working place you must have a lot of space and a strong floor because machine has measurements 669.3×212.6×94.5 inch with weight 17.6 short tons.
