Used or new conventional machines

Very often when you buy some product you have a choice to buy a new thing, which is unused or buy the second hand thing, which was already used before you. Of course you can say that new goods are better then used and you will be right. But is it rule right in all situations? In most cases it is true, but not in every. One of these exceptions is industrial machines. And now I would to explain you the advantages of buying used machines in good condition before new.

The first and the most important, for my mind, argument in favor of machines which was already used is price. I think it is not a secret that the new machines are more expansive than used. But why we must pay more? If you do not have a lot of money but you need some machine, used machines are ideal variant for you. But even if you have money and you can buy a new expensive machine, is it necessary? New machines have twice or even tree time higher price and you better can buy one more used machine or some equipment for it. The next very important thing which maybe is even more important than the previous one is quality. In most cases new machines has worse quality that second hand machines. Increasingly, machine manufacturers start production in China, where there is a well-trained engineering personnel. The result is that these new machines are not as refined as those produced several years ago in establishments situated in the US or Europe. It is connected to the fact that most manufacturers of machines is trying to replaced most of the high-quality, expensive details to cheaper analogues losing thus quality. Due to this you will much more often contact with a service center in order to replace the damaged parts what of course will be really expensive for you. But if we take the machine, which was made 10-15 years ago, we can see that here on the details and structural elements did not save the money, all the parts was made of high quality materials. That is why, in my opinion, this is a strong argument to choose second hand machine. The third and final feature on which I wish to draw your attention – is that buying a secondhand machine you buy already the tried and tested device. In the case of the new machine you can not accurately predict whether it will cope with their tasks exactly as you want it. With used is a completely different situation, you can see how it performs its functions and whether it is really what you need.
So in conclusion I want to say that there is not always “new” means better, especially when it comes to industrial machines. This view consists of the fact that in most cases used machines is more reliable, proven and significantly cheaper than their new analog, which I consider is very important. When buying a new machine, first check where in fact it was manufactured.
